We are at or very near a fundamental shift. The “we” are us Human beings – Humanus Erectus.

It is becoming clearer to more and more of us that we and our environment are changing. More of us are seeing that whatever process(s) or force(s) are the cause(s) of these changes --physical evolution, spiritual evolution, technical evolution, social evolution, economic evolution – they cannot continue to progress at the same rate and or in the same direction we can see that they have been over our history.

This has been said before. Someone tried to close the patent office at the turn of the 19^th Century.

The difference right now is Human Awareness.

The detachment from physical activity has left many of us living our entire lives in our heads.

This number of Humans who are living in their heads is higher than ever and growing rapidly.

Up until now, the living in our heads has produced two primary and powerful forces which influence all of our world views and experiences – science and violence.

Scielence.

Our consciousness has reached its capacity limit

We must choose Scielence or Spirituallity.

The Spiritual Journey begins with the self but must develop into group experience to counteract the scielence – just like the physical journey has developed from individual to group experience to get us to here.

Organized religion has provided the group experience so far but appears to be falling behind the population in general in terms of effectiveness.

Spirituality is not a thing/consciousness that we perform on occasion – it is the life we live.

Many do not want or welcome change. That is because they believe and are afraid that the changes will remove their material things – houses, income, prestige, security, sex – which the changes will do for some, no doubt.

It’s not that what we have done is bad or evil and needs correcting. It’s time to add or expand or evolve to the next level in order to survive.

This evolutionary step will result from an act of Will from millions of human beings.

One person cannot make the step for another – “Believe in Me and you shall have everlasting life.” Jesus said.

We have to do – put forth effort – for the step to be made.

What individuals do influences the outcome but not the end result.

Imagine that the continents are separate huge bodies of rock (which they are) and that they move (which they do) and that where they move is determined by three things ----

1) each continent has enough, but not necessarily equal amount of energy, to move, and in fact, are moving, but they have no ability to steer (in other words, they have momentum)

2) every human being alive has one steering wheel to direct the movement of their continent

3) continents are in contact with one another

Each individual steering wheel is moveable in 360 degrees – all the way around.

For the past 5-7,000 years we have only been turning the wheel within a 45 degree area.

No matter where the individuals within the population steered the end result was a general direction within the 45 degree arc

Occasionally a majority of the population steers in the same direction at the same time and rapid movement can be seen on their continent – the Industrial revolution, for example

Most of the time all the billions of steerers simply cancel each other out
