DO you have faith? Some of you might say, “Why yes I do! Praise the Lord! And pity on those who don’t.”  Others of you might say, “Faith is for pussy’s. Nobody’s taking care of me but me.”  Still others might say something like, “I’m not sure, I want to but I feel I don’t.  I try but nothing seems to happen.”

I’ve got good news and bad news .  The good news is…You’re in here. (If that’s the good news, what the hell’s the bad news?) No, really…it’s good news you’re in here because you are sober.  The State has forced you into sobriety.  The bad news is… You’re getting out of here and going right back to the people, places and things that helped get you here.

We are at or very near a fundamental shift.  The “we” are us Human beings – Humanus Erectus.  It is becoming clearer to more and more of us that we and our environment are changing.  More of us are seeing that whatever process(s) or force(s) are the cause(s) of these changes --physical evolution, spiritual evolution, technical evolution, social evolution, economic evolution – they cannot  continue to progress at the same rate and or in the same direction we can see that they have been over our history.

Ever heard of it?  Sure you have. Most likely it’s the most popular card game on the planet.  Everybody knows how to play solitaire. It’s a simple game, they say.  So simple that you can play it and do something else at the same time.  You don’t have to think about it much to play it, they say.  Well, not at first of course. 

Where is God?   In Eternity, or Heaven, some might say.  What about inside myself?  Nothing can exist without God so, it would not be inaccurate to say God is  “inside” of everything, us too.  But if you mean that God is inside us the same way He wants us inside Him, then no, He is not inside us. 

And God said, “Honor your Father (and Mother) so you shall live long…”

Vacation-like thinking. The actual thoughts one has when on vacation. 
Having a blast. Not thinking about work or coming up with ways to forget about it.
Everything I encounter is new to me. 

You’re at a fork in the road.  You have a choice…a decision to make.  The road to the left, looks like the harder, less traveled, road …  the road to the right, the road everybody else seems to take ….the easy road.  Addicts are just like most other people.  We take the easy road.
